Torsion Spring Failure in Winter Park
Before
AfterA torsion spring, the horizontal coil above the door that does most of the lifting, snapped just after 7 a.m. on a Tuesday. The door was stuck closed with a car trapped inside and the client already late for work. We quoted $240 on the phone, arrived with a pair of springs sized to the door’s weight, and had the door opening smoothly in just under an hour. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means that spring is covered in writing for a full year.
Frayed Cable Replacement Near Lake Eola Heights
Before
AfterWe got a call from a homeowner who heard a popping sound and then noticed one side of the door hanging slightly lower than the other. The lifting cable had frayed down to a few strands at the drum, and the door was riding off-level every time it opened. We replaced both cables, not just the failed one, since a mismatched pair wears unevenly in Orlando’s summer humidity. Total cost was $185, locked before we started.
Off-Track Door in Baldwin Park
Before
AfterA family in Baldwin Park came home to find their garage door hanging at a sharp angle, one roller popped clean out of the track. This happens often in Orlando when the afternoon thunderstorm season softens the ground around the slab and shifts the door frame just enough to misalign things. We reseated the door on both tracks, replaced the bent rollers with nylon ones, and reset the limits on the opener. $210, quoted on the phone, same price on the invoice.
Noisy Binding Door in Thornton Park

The homeowner described the sound as “a filing cabinet falling down a staircase” every time the door moved. What we found were original builders-grade hinges from 2006, bone dry, with two rollers cracked. We replaced all hinges and rollers, lubricated the torsion spring and bearing plates, and adjusted the opener force setting so it wasn’t working harder than it should. The door now opens at a normal conversation volume. $165 all in, written and agreed before any work.
Garage Door Opener Swap in MetroWest

The old Genie unit had been lifting the same 16-foot door since the Clinton administration and the motor was giving up. We removed the old opener, installed a new belt drive LiftMaster, and wired in the keypad outside. The owner said the quietest thing about the old setup was when it finally stopped running. Total project was $485 including the unit, labor, and haul-away. Same price written before we opened the first box.
Snapped Cable With Door Stuck Open in Azalea Park

We caught this one at 9 p.m. on a humid weeknight. The cable snapped while the door was up, and there it stayed: open, exposed, with a house full of tools and two motorcycles inside. A customer standing in the driveway at night with an open garage wants two things: a real person on the phone, and a written price before anyone touches the door. They got both. We replaced the cable set and found the torsion spring had lost tension, which is why the cable snapped in the first place. $230 for the full repair, and we guaranteed it for a year.
